Classic apple pie – second try

I believe if I bake a thousand times, I will bake it as good as American Master Chef!! >.<

The crust is okay but still not as flaky as I expected. The filling is quite dry. I guess because I baked it longer than it should be.

For the crust, I used butter and margarine, cold water and vodka. I feel the result was better than butter only and water only. I used a pastry blender.

  • 1 2/3 cup all purposed flour
  • 200 gr unsalted butter, cold finger-size cubes
  • 65 gr margarine
  • 50 gr white sugar
  • 5 gr salt
  • 60 ml cold water + vodka
